Why is my Amazon Fire Stick not working?


Some common problems you might face with your Amazon Firestick include app errors/crashing, audio and visual issues, and a blank or frozen home screen. To fix these kinds of problems (and often many others) try simply restarting your device.

A device restart can usually perform as a cure-all to several common issues and all it needs is unplugging the power cord from the rear of the Firestick and plugging it again.
For simple restart:
                    Simply, disconnect the power cord from the rear of the device or from the power outlet, then plug it back in.
                    Press and hold the Select and Play/Pause buttons simultaneously, for five seconds.
                    Or, choose Settings > Device > Restart from the Fire TV menu.

Loose Physical Connection or Low Charge
Double-check that the stick is securely inserted all the way into your TV's HDMI port. If the fire TV stick still doesn't appear on the device when plugged in, be sure that the stick has been fully charged using the provided a USB charger.

If the Amazon Fire TV stick is still not working this may mean the motherboard is defective and requires to be replaced. Do this only as a last option.

2.                   Your modem or router must have the following specifications:
a.       B, G, and N routers on 2.4 GHz or A and N routers on 5GHz.
