How do I fix my WiFi spectrum

3.                   Confirm that your device's Wi-Fi and all equipment is turned on.
4.                   Be sure there are no software disputes, like Firewalls or Antivirus programs.
5.                   Confirm the operating system on your pc, phone or tablet is updated to the newest version.
6.                   If you're using a VPN solution, it may be scanning your connection for security reasons. Try disconnecting from your VPN session and using your pc without it to see if your VPN is causing the problem.
7.                   If important, you can reset your modem.

Here’s what you have to do to find out why your Spectrum Internet is slow:

Another thing to check is the location in your house. The farther you are from the router, the slower speeds usually are. This is especially true with walls and many floors between you and the router.
