Does crackle still work

Presently, Sony Crackle is available in the US and Australia for free of cost. We are also available through subscription in several Latin American countries and soon in the Caribbean.

How can I access Crackle?
Crackle is pretty much everywhere. It's in your web browser, so you can watch it simply on a pc. It's also on your phones and tablets, whether you have an iOS or Android device, a Kindle tablet, or even a Windows Phone.

It's also on streaming devices like Apple TV, Roku, Amazon Fire TV, and Chrome cast, as well as smart TVs from Samsung, Sony, LG, and Vizio.

Crackle used to have a very disappointing interface on some of its devices, especially mobile, but the service has recently rolled out a more modern aesthetic across the board. It's stylish and smooth, however, when you use it on PlayStation 4, the navigation felts a bit awkward compared to something that feels like second nature as Netflix. But you'll get used to it.

Content on Crackle
Crackle content is regularly revolved – some films and shows are removed, while new ones are added. It might not sound like much at first, but there is something for everybody. Action and comedy or mashups of both are particularly important– you can enjoy cult classics like Starship Troopers, Kung Fu Hustle or Zombieland, for example. You also get a huge choice of Japanese anime series and movies, including classics like Satoshi Kon’s Paprika and Tokyo Godfathers, and popular shows like Steins Gate.

There's no shortage of streaming video services out there, but most of them have something in common: they'll either charge you huge bucks via a monthly subscription fee, or you'll have to plug in a cable or satellite login – which charges higher – to access some or all of the content. Is Crackle Legal?
It might seem like Crackle is illegal because of its selection of well-known movies and full-length TV shows, but you can rest assured that what you see on their website or through their app is 100 percent legal to stream as often as you want.

Crackle is owned by Sony Pictures Entertainment, meaning that not only is the service completely legal, there's also a continuous flow of new movies and programming from Sony to keep it fresh with new content.

If crackle is not activating on your device, visit the Crackle Activation page.
