To check for an outage in your locality using the My
Spectrum app:
1.
Firstly, Open My Spectrum app.
2.
If requested, type the Username and Password for
your Spectrum account.
3.
Choose Equipment.
4.
Please wait while the app attempts to set up a
connection with your equipment.
a.
A green circle containing a checkmark has
appeared for every piece of equipment if you have power and there is no outage.
b.
Yellow circles have appeared if the equipment
cannot be reached.
c.
If there is a known cable outage, a service
interruption message is shown when you return to the Dashboard.
5.
If the service interruption message is
displayed, choose to Notify Me to receive an app alert or a phone call when
your service is restored.
To check for an outage online:
1.
Sign in to your online account.
2.
Under Account & Billing, choose Check
Service Status.
3.
The Check Service Status page opens, showing a
list of your equipment.
a.
If there are any outages in your locality, an
alert such as the following has appeared near the top of the page: "A
service disruption is your area has been detected and we are working
particularly to resolve the issue."
b.
If there are no outages no alert is shown, and
you can review the connection status of your equipment.
Reporting an Outage
If your power is out, first call your power service or visit
their website for outage information. Even if you have power at your place of
business, power outages in your area may be affecting our network and detaining
the restoration of services. If you've determined that there are no Spectrum power outages in your region, you can troubleshoot your Spectrum Business
services, or check any equipment problems at Spectrum outage map & Spectrum bill pay.
Restoration Efforts
Please be aware that as a result of hurricanes or other
extreme weather events, notable commercial power outages in your area may
affect your Spectrum Video, Internet and Voice services. Even if you have power
at your place of business, these outages may be affecting our network and
detaining the restoration of services.
If you experience a service interruption, please:

Call Spectrum Business to report your Spectrum internet outage.
·
Stay clear of all fallen tree limbs and
electrical wires as well as anything they're touching - such as puddles or metal
fences.
·
Prepare a list of emergency phone numbers and
have them available readily all the time.
